Alarm security technician

Installs and maintains fire, security, alarm, and special systems. Programs and maintains equipment and systems including fire alarm, intrusion detection, video surveillance, asset protection, environmental detection, holdup/duress, integrated systems and equipment related to the alarm monitoring station.

Blacksmiths make and repair ornamental or practical metal objects. They use traditional and modern forging techniques to form, shape and join metals such as steel, iron, brass, copper and bronze. There are two basic types of blacksmith, industrial and artistic.

Installs and repairs electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings. Installs conduits and pipes to house electrical wires and cables. Ensures piping complies with electrical codes. Installs circuit breakers and other electrical hardware and connects wiring to them.

Gunsmiths clean, repair, fabricate, assemble, and disassemble firearms. To do so, they use machinery or design their own tools. Gunsmiths typically specialize in one particular area. These professionals also must be licensed.

Office automation technicians handle administrative tasks according to the practices and procedures in effect in the company. These tasks include producing documents, managing work and communicating information. They may also develop tracking tools using office software and train users on certain applications.

Plumbers install and repair pipes and fixtures that carry water, gas, or other fluids in homes and businesses. They also maintain plumbing fixtures like bathtubs and toilets and appliances such as dishwashers or heating systems.

Armament fitters are responsible for inspecting, servicing and repairing firearms, artillery weaponry, and weaponry equipment. They also have knowledge in the use of ammunition and explosives. Their tasks are as varied as the diversity of weapons used in modern warfare and policing.

Coppersmiths work mainly with non-ferrous metals such as copper and brass, manufacturing cylinders, pipes, cisterns and art objects.

A fitter and turner is responsible for studying blueprints, plans, and drawings to be able to construct, assemble, manufacture, and fit parts of machines. This person is also responsible for maintaining and repairing different types of machinery.

The Locksmith cuts new or replacement keys, picks locks for which keys have been lost or broken and makes repairs of locks as required under emergency conditions.

Platers (welders) are responsible for cutting, welding and fashioning steel into parts for machinery, conveyor systems and underground and surface vehicles.

 A power plant operator is in charge of running the equipment needed to generate electricity, including boilers, turbines, gauges and controls, pumps, fans, and more. This person is also responsible for cleaning, lubricating and maintaining equipment to prevent failures or excessive wear and tear.
